Welcome to the Howard Arms
Situated in the quaint Cumbrian market town of Brampton, the Howard Arms is a family run pub with a balance of traditional touches and contemporary twists. Our pub has a relaxed atmosphere and welcomes locals, visitors to the area, overnight stayers, business trippers, families and even four-legged friends.
We've put in place extra COVID-secure precautions and steps to make all our guests and staff feel safe when visiting us.
These include; hand sanitisers on all tables and throughout public areas, customer-facing staff are wearing visors, disposable menus for all tables, all customers must be seated to be served and reservations are advised.
For our overnight guests; rooms will not be serviced during their stay but they can request change of towels etc from any member of the team. All rooms are provided with, sanitising wipes, sprays and gels.
Whether you join us for breakfast, lunch or dinner, you’re in for a treat. Our food is locally sourced and freshly cooked to order. We offer a range of pub classics, all best washed down with a pint of great quality real ale.
We have a beautiful new bar and lounge area, 8 en-suite bedrooms and a newly refurbished function room. Located near to Hadrian’s wall, just off the main A69, we are in a perfect location to visit some great local attractions or enjoy the views of a country stroll and then relax by one of our open fires.
We also have gift vouchers, available to buy at the pub, over the phone or by email, which can be redeemed on food, drink, and overnight stays. What’s great is that you can add whatever amount you want onto the voucher, making for the perfect gift.
